Cons:
Occupier's CPF cannot be used to help pay the HDB.
Occupier has no ownership rights on the property.
Minimum Occupation Period (MOP) applies to both the occupier and owner.
Pros:
The occupier will not be required to pay Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty
The occupier will be able to qualify for a higher loan quantum when purchasing a private property.
