What are some of the good first-class airlines I should try, that at the same time is priced reasonably (with miles)?
Wanted SQ but don't think I'll be able to get tickets.

Singapore Airlines - Good experience and plent of routes, new suite class can be combined into a double bed
Lufthansa - May be hard to get an award as they only release 2 weeks prior to the flight
Japan Airlines - Recently refreshed their new first class cabin for long haul routes
Etihad - The residence is more like a studio apartment than a seat!
Emirates - Good privacy and easy to connect to europe
Air France - Tarmac transfers in luxury cars to the gate, food is fantastic
Personally I would fly business class over first class as some airlines such as Singapore Airlines, business class is more than good enough to rival other airlines first class in terms of product and service. Adding to that if you are bringing companions along, the different in costs in terms of miles can be a big jump between business and first class. βββ

BAsed on the question, Qantas and JAL in my view. The dredemption miles value is reasonable, but best to fly from their home airport for the best lounge access. However you may consdier flying from Singapore for Qantas as they recently launched a new first class lounge which is pretty good and comparable to SIA'sβββ
