More affordable destinations will be countries like Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. These countries have lovely beach resorts that are pretty affordable and cheap to shop and spend with the current exchange rates.

Taiwan will be alternative that can be put into consideration where there is many nice food outlets / streetfood stalls, beautiful sceneries and great to shop.

Consider getting packaged deals, had my honeymoon package via Groupon, $50 for 5d4n 4* hotel, coach and food all provided. Just had to get own air tickets and attraction fees, plus tourist fees for tour guide and coach

I think that Taiwan is a great place and it's affordable! Scoot offers flights to there daily and it's priced reasonably. Taiwan has beautiful scenery and good food and you can travel to different cities such as Taipei, Taichung, Kenting etc.
