What advice would you give to someone without a diploma or degree who is looking for a permanent full-time job?

Graduated from JC with fail grades. After, among studying to retake As, figuring out career path, and finding suitable job, took up various freelance, PT, and contract work. Last year, an interviewer brought up concern over commitment because I ‘do not have a track record’. That stuck with me. Now, I’ve been working in the same role for ~5 months and was recently accepted into a PT degree programme. My contract ends early next year and I haven’t been able to get any interviews. I need advice

If the role requires you to have a Diploma or Degree, then you would be at a disadvantage if you don't possess the qualifications because employers will consider those applicants who have the required qualifications for the joj. You may wish to gradually upgrade yourself by embarking on certification programmes and eventually acquiring your Diploma or Degree while picking up the experiences by maybe beginning from a junior level and working yourself up the career ladder.
