Just discovered that the popular VWRD etf has an accumulating version VWRA. Why isn't it talked about more? Is there any differences apart from the preference of distributing or accumulating the dividend?

They are actually the same just that VWRD distribute dividend. VWRA accumulates and reinvest dividends.
However, VWRA just recently launched and the AUM and liquidity is lower than VWRD.

As answered by Gabriel this are the terms. VWRA in my view is better because the dividends are put to good capital use, however for investors of the older age, the former is better because they need some money to fund their lifestyle given that they may have stopped working or are doing jobs that are less intense now.
