Am looking to purchase VOO or VTI for the long-term and was wondering if anyone knows which brokerage charges the least in terms of commission and custodian fees?
I have a Saxo account currently and am wondering if I should just go ahead and purchase VOO/VTI there or if there might be 'better' lower custodian fee/commission options for the long run. Thanks.

Hi Anon,
ā
Please do not use your Saxo account anymore - it's considerably expensive in today's context of brokers. If you're interested in investing in US ETFs, you can consider using TDA if you're able to get an account opened - they take ridiculously long to process account openings.
ā
Otherwise, IBKR is the next best bet with lowest commissions (0.35 USD/trade) and spot FX rates with no custodian fees.
ā
Hope this helps!

I am not too sure about Saxo but you can take a look at TDA/IBKR or Tiger.
TDA has 0 commission fees...
