VT is a world ETF, which is different from an S&P 500 ETF like VOO or SPY. VT will include stocks from various countries while VOO will include stocks from the US only. They are highly correlated with each other but have slightly different performances, simply because the underlying holdings are not exactly identical. But either one is a solid ETF to DCA into and will be a great backbone for your portfolio, so you don't have to stress too much over which to pick - just go with one!
