Noticed that DBS Multiplier has this clause that states: Existing POSB Invest-Saver you purchased before opening DBS Multiplier will not be recognised. Does this mean that (1) I should avoid starting on POSB Invest-Saver at all, or (2) I can get started with investing in POSB Invest-Saver already. Just that the monthly ETF investments I made before opening my Multiplier account won't be recognised, but the ones made after will?

Yes! You do need to wait till you open your DBS Multiplier!
Don't make the mistake I did... once you are an existing investor via the POSB invest saver, there is no turning back..
Now you can get to use this as a investing category.

Whatever products you invest in using the Invest-Saver, before opening the Multiplier account, will not be recognised. This means that you'll to use the Invest-saver to invest in a new product after opening the Multiplier account for it to be recognised for the next 12 months.
