Does it make sense / feasible if I credit 1-2k from my OCBC account, add the sal tag then transfer out the 1-2k from UOB to OCBC? So that I can get bonus interest

While some individuals consider moving money between accounts to maximize bonus interest rates, it's important to be aware of the terms and conditions associated with your bank accounts. Most banks have rules in place to prevent such practices, and they may require a minimum balance or specific activities like a minimum monthly credit card spend to qualify for bonus interest. Attempting to manipulate these rules could result in unforeseen consequences, such as account closure or loss of interest.
I recommend thoroughly reviewing the terms and conditions of your UOB ONE and OCBC accounts. If you have any doubts or concerns, it's a good idea to reach out to representatives from both banks to ensure you're making well-informed financial decisions that align with their policies. In general, cultivating strong financial habits and developing a solid savings plan can be more advantageous in the long term compared to attempting to exploit the system for bonus interest.
