UOB one credit card taking forever to get approved

Was a completely new UOB user and tried to apply for their first 200 new-to-UOB promotion with $1k spend for 2 months for the cash reward plus UOB one account interest. It's been 3 weeks yet still no sound from them. I've been contacting live chat to expedite the request which they always say they have put in the request, but nothing happens anyway.

What ttakes them so long to approve? I've never had this issue with other banks. And they've been aggressively promoting the cash reward for the first 200 new-to-UOB customers on radio stations and also instagram but it clearly seems like applications have way more than that already.

I need the card to achieve the 3.85% bank interest rate with salary crediting! This is frustrating. Will I be rejected? (I don't think my credit score is bad)
