I'm having a break now with no internships. i'm keeping a look out for part time jobs. the low paying ones like $7.5-8phr are in f&b, retail etc. the better paying ones like $12-15phr are swabbers or in healthcare settings. looking at reports of covid cases in the community, those working at supposedly 'low-risk' places (ie. non-healthcare) also kena covid. is anyone having fear/anxiety about working part time?
anyone chose to stay at home? what are y'all doing to be productive or to make $?

Hi Anon,
I'm currently doing all 3 hahaha. My internship is WFH and I'm doing part-time jobs over the weekend! I guess it helps that my part-time jobs can be done online so I don't need to go to any high-risk places.
If you're worried about going out to work, there's nothing wrong with staying at home too! In fact, you can use the time that you have to get started on side projects of your own! Be it learning a new skill, or preparing for your mods next sem, there are plenty of ways to make your time productive :) If you're in NUS you can find all the past year learning materials for different mods on Box (not sure about other unis tho hahah). You can also use sites like Coursera, Edx or Udemy to upskill yourself! After all, in a competitive society like Singapore, we can never escape from lifelong learning :p
Cheers!
