Type of questions that I can ask the HR/employer/interviewer during the interview session

I believe most of us whom have been through job interviews would remember about the particular segment nearing to the end of the interview session (after the interviewers are done with asking you all the general interview questions to find out more about you) whereby they will then ask "Do you have any questions for us / Do you have any questions that you would like to clarify with us?"

So the question that I would like to ask over here is...

What are some of the questions that I can ask my hr/employer at the end of the interview session to find out more about the culture of their company and work, and also about the pay, and how can I paraphrase these questions in a respectful and appropriate manner? What are some of the other important questions that I should/can also prompt the interviwers with?

You can always say, what is the thing you enjoy most about your job? Your interviewers' body language should tell you if this is an organisation you want to work for.

You can always ask what you have in mind:

  • How would you describe the company's culture?
  • What are usually the feedbacks from existing staff? How do they view the management?
  • What do you think I need to work well with the rest of the organization if I am offered the job?

Pay wise i usually won't ask - because is quite default - if they not offering me a pay I want then already bye bye. So far none of my employers are off my expectations.

Unless you are asking for a very high increment - which I guess you need to have contributed to the org to earn that. I am the more traditional type. To me the company will be ultra dumb/desperate to give a high increment w nothing in return (it's like an advance/loan). Desparate = got issues not revealed.
