Yes, I'm planning to get one once my kitten is fully vaccinated! My main reason is that my kitten's a stray (and likely abandoned), so I'm not too sure if he had any pre-existing health conditions even though so far the checks have not diagnosed anything serious such as cancer. TLDR, it's better to get than not because hospitalisation itself can cost a ton. I know someone whose dog was hospitalised for a week and the bill came up to 11k.
