Ok, firstly, I think it's unfair to lump all alt coins together. There are legitimate coins like MATIC and LINK that have great potential for the future and there are coins like DOGE which do not have any particular value to them. For the purpose of this discussion, I'll assume you're referring to the second group and I'll refer to them as 'alt coins'.
That said, I don't deny that you can (and many people have) make money on these 'alt coins'. However, do be well aware of the risk involved when chasing such coins. The other day, Vitalik dumped a portion of his SHIB coins, causing a 30% dip in SHIB's value. DOGE faces a similar concentration risk and so do many other 'alt coins'. Manage your position size and do not invest more than you're willing to lose. I won't lie, even for myself, I chased GME with a small bit of money and exited when I got scared haha. I think it's ok to do it as long as you're aware of the risk and your position is sized appropriately.βββ
