Thoughts on banks investment wing? Are they worthy to even listen to their pitch on investment ideas? Should we invest with them or do it ourselves?

Citibank earlier said they are opening a new massive branch a Orchard for their relationship managers to build relationships with the affluent and other banks have also jumped to all these.

Best to take them with a pinch of salt. Although some of these investment reports can be really useful to form your own views

They could be biased and recommend own (inferior) products, as they always did.
