Thought this will be a fun question to ask. How many stock trades do you make in a typical month?

Do you change hands and make stock trades often? Or are you more of the buy-and-hold kind of investor?

Ranging from 0-2 per month. Got work so no time to follow news on a lot of stocks. I do mostly individual stock picks.

As a result of the lack of time, I tend to pick dividend yielding stocks which I think are good value and expect to grow over time (years, not months).

I have a StashAway account where I invest with DCA strategy.

Separately I have a IBKR account which I use 80% to buy and hold long term for quality stocks, and keep about 20% for trading in and out of speculative stocks.

I have two portfolios, one for macro trading and one for Buy and hold.

As a trader, I am a macro trend follower. My trading time horizon varies from 6 months to 2 years. Usually, i have about 5-10 trades in my portfolio.

I use buy and hold strategy to invest in high quality companies.
