This is regarding RIGHTS OFFERING for BIONTECH SE US Stock. Any advice?

I have some stock of Biontech. I received this offering material as below;

This offer seems to be voluntary. (1)Should I participate? (2)If I don't participate, what's happened to my current position?
I just started investing in US stock this year, as such it would be helpful if someone could advise me on the above more easily and simply?

If you believe in the company, you should get more shares at a discount. If not, you can forfeit the chance.
