The Circuit Breaker has now been extended for another month to 1 June 2020. What are your thoughts on this? Are you happy or are you bummed out?

Its within expectations, no surprised about that. In fact, one should had the expectation normalcy can only revert earliest at least at end of year. This is not a localized/regional issue, its a global pandemic. ​​​

Writing this on 1st may coz in 3 more days the circuit breaker should have ended on 4 may!!!

sigh.... 1st june instead.

well i am crossing fingers that with the lower daily community rate, the government will relax restrictions on 4 May and other subsequent dates....

My thoughts on this extension is probably a must to have...but 1 more month....

I am a financial advisor and i travelled everywhere in Singapore...and now to stay home everyday....i not used to.. and these stay home will create laziness for many people when the circuit breaker is lifted...

F2F with clients is ok, but not all are IT savvy. Prospects wise are not willing to zoom much...so there is restriction in many ways.. Hoping everything end fast...

It's a bummer. It's already hard enough to go through the first month, and now we have to go through another month of staying home.. I almost cried when I heard the PM say its gonna be another 4 weeks to be honest. Lol. It just feels depressing that the stores outside are all closed and we aren't able to sit and hang out in cafes and restaurants like last time.

However, the plus side is I get to spend much more time with my family members than usual and it's a good time to re-think about life and my personal goals. Also great for working to get that killer body. :P The circuit breaker is bad news for the economy - for an economy-centric government I am pretty sure that they have made their calculations and came to the conclusion that an extra month of the circuit breaker is the only option for Singapore.

We just gotta make our best use of this time! At least we working adults get to relive our school holiday days!
