I am looking for a technology ETF to diversify my portfolio.
I was searching around in this forum if XDWT ETF was discussed. However, I realized that it does not seem to be very popular vs VGT.
XDWT is domiciled in Ireland and therefore, subject to lower tax than VGT.
XDWT TER is slightly higher at 0.25% vs VGT 0.10%.
It is also easier for XDWT to DCA since per unit price is around 110 USD vs 400+ USD.
Exposure wise XDWT is global, but still very much leaning towards US exposure.
Any thoughts?

XDWT tracks an excellent index, so a very good global choice.
Almost all technology Unit Trusts/Mutual Funds perform worse than that index.
VGT is also nice as is QQQ (or it's cheaper QQQM). Often these are top heavy.
QTEC is (almost) equally weighted, which comes at a higher TER of 0.57%.
SOXX, FDN, SKYY are interesting subsectors.
CQQQ, KWEB, HK:3067, HK:3147, HK:3109 are interesting China techs
HK:3181 for Asia (but AUM very low still)
Biotechs are also very interesting:
XBI, FBT, KURE, HK:2820
past returns cannot predict accurately future returns.
