TD Ameritrade $0 commission. Anyone using it to trade in US market?

Just wondering if anyone in SG use TD Ameritrade? Although 0 commission fee, the waiting time for response and support took weeks... If my account got activated, does it charged any fee if I decided not to use? How is the exchange rate and how is your experience with TDA here?

I've been using TD for about a year now. Account opening took about a week last time I made one. I believe it's around 1-2 months of waiting time now. Do call/email from time to time and they'll tend to open your account earlier. There's no fee for inactivity. Other than that, TD has been great. Love their charts and layout. All of my US stocks I've bought are on TD too.

I'm currently trading in IBKR.

The fees is low at only $0.35 per trade.

I want to switch over. But that is not able to allow me to do fractional shares which is what i trade most of the time as my investment amount split over different stocks is small...
