Stay in a full time perm job with no progression or accept a 1 year non convertible contract role with better learning opportunities ?

Currently single no commitments and financially stable with adequate savings. Stuck in a company which there is no opportunity for career progression and mobility as it is facing financial difficulties. People keep leaving and workload is spreaded among those who remains as company freeze hiring. As someone with 3 years exp and still seeking growth, it has been rather draining as economy is not doing well. Went for interviews but fail to secure a permanent job. Should I take up an offer even if it is not permanent but may provide better opportunities?

See which offer better package. unless you have some strong reasons to stay on. bear in mind the job market now is not as good, the next job may face the same situation as current job, so the reason for moving on must be strong eg, really have many new skills or things to learn that are helpful in future advancement.

In a situation like yours, I would move since single with with no commitments.

I would advise to step outside considering you are prioritising growth.

Don't sell yourself short though, be it contract or permanent roles, don't take a pay cut if you can.
