Stamp duty on LSE ETF such as VWRA

Anyone using standard chartered online trading here? I just bought 1 share of VWRA an I realised I was charged for the 1% stamp duty. Though I read online saying LSE does not charge stamp duty on ETF. However when I checked my purchasing power balance before and after the trade and the stamp duty was actually charged. Anyone experienced it before?

Stamp duties are not chargeable on ETFs listed on LSE. Once the transaction has fully settled, you will be able to see that stamp duty is not charged despite the change in purchasing power earlier.
