SRS-> Invest in S27 or Endowus / StashAway?

I plan to pump SRS to reduce tax. The investment in SRS is for retirement, and looking at US stock for long term growth. Should I go with S27 or Robo?

Several factors I personally considered: depends whether are you concerned with fees, whether do you want to auto invest regularly, auto reinvest dividends, whether you are fine with single fund or want a diversification of funds, whether you are fine with the managemant team behind.

advantage of using robos is not to single pick stock or fund or ETF, but to use their portfolio of funds and let them auto rebalance and reinvest dividends. but robos are newer kids and who knows what will happen to them in a few years time.

if you prefer just single ETF and don't mind to click buy button every time, then S27 will be better. you also get the shares credited in CDP, which in most likelyhood should not collapse.

But overall, all other things being equal, at the end of about 20 years, your final portfolio will be about the same whether you use S27 or a robo. You can check this with a simple excel calculation using $10000/year with 8% pa, I got ~$490k vs $475k

hope this helps.

edit: just to add, there are misinformation out there which claims that S27 is illiquid. this is not true. there are liquidity providers who are queuing orders. so unless your order is over 10k lots or somewhere in the range, you will almost be certain to get your orders filled. (you can verify with your broker on this)

be very careful when someone tries to discredit one investment but promotes another investment, you will not know what hidden agendas he/she has.

Great game plan there! I intend to do the exact same thing to reduce tax. I'm not sure about S27 so can't speak much about that. But if you're looking for a diversified pool of asset with exposure to the US market both Endowus and StashAway offers that. I'm not sure if they offer 100% in the US market, but you can check out their portfolio and compare the returns, and the market that their portfolio is invested into! Hope this helps!

S27 depends on which broker you use.
The transaction fee can be different....
