Smartphone - Samsung Galaxy or Apple Iphone?

My samsung galaxy A71 phone (3 years old) recently appeared white lines on the screen, every week 1 new white line appear.saw alot of people having this issue with samsung phone. Need to get a new phone and deciding between samsung galaxy A series or iphone 14.

Iphone price is exorbitant and cost 3 times more than galaxy A series phone. But im traumatised by samsung phone screen with white lines, scared that the same will happen to new phone. Heard a friend using iphone 13 mini had the white line on screen after software update, and apple refused to repair for free.

1) For those using iphone 13/14, do you face this issue?

2) Would you recommend lower peice samsung galaxy A or pay more for iphone 13/14 hoping no white line screen issue?

3) Would iphone be more lasting and durable than samsung phone? Do you think it is more worth to get galaxy A than iphone even though likely every 3 yrs need to change if this issue persist?
