Hi everyone
Lately, I’ve made it a goal to reduce my online shopping expenses, especially since prices in Singapore seem to be rising faster than ever.
After trying out different shopping strategies across popular platforms like Zalora, RedMart, Qoo10, Direct Asia and even AliExpress SG, I’ve noticed a few smart habits that consistently helped me spend less and save more:
Combining a store's voucher with a platform-wide coupon can reduce your final price significantly. It’s one of the easiest and most effective ways I’ve saved on purchases.
Oddly enough, I’ve caught some of the best surprise deals by checking around 12 AM or just before the weekend kicks in. Keep an eye out, especially on mobile apps.
There are a few solid SG-based groups that share daily codes, exclusive links, and real-time alerts. I found out about some time-sensitive offers I would’ve completely missed otherwise.
Some Singapore-focused coupon sites (which aren’t as well-known) post fresh deals every day, and many of them work! Worth bookmarking a couple and checking before you buy.
Now, I’d love to hear from you:
1 - Do you usually wait for big pay day sales, or rely more on credit card promos?
2 - Are there any other SG-specific money-saving tips you use that I haven’t listed?
Let’s trade some strategies and help each other make the most of every dollar we spend online.
Cheers, Just another SG shopper trying to shop smarter.
