Should I skip/forgo University education to get a degree?

I can get into a local University and can afford to pay for the tuition fees fully. I can tell that my dad feels stress working in his current job & he is the sole breadwinner. Should I skip/forgo University education and join the workforce to help ease his burden so that he can retire or switch job?

I think it really depends on the area of study you plan to go into. However, I would say that generally a degree gives you a certain level of safety net that a diploma would not usually offer.

Also, it's best that you do it now, whil you still have the time and finances to study. Wanting to upgrade yourself later in life can feel harder than it actually sounds.
