You are not paying cpf interest for the house.

the accrued interest is your own money.

Accured interest is still your money.
if u want more cash after selling your house then u can payback. If you dont mind most of the $$$ go to cpf then dont need to pay back.
If you dont want to sell your house then no point paying back.
