I'm 25 years old, and thinking of what kind of investment to do for DCA to invest regularly on part of my salary. Recently got introduced to ILP, my AXA FA claims that this ILP is purely investment, with an additional insurance coverage of 2% of account value upon occurence of death. Should I invest in the ILP?

I highly discourage ILPs even if they are the purely investment policies, such as AXA pulsar. While ILPs get you access to accredited investment funds where retail investors cannot, the ILP fees are much higher for than DIY.
Also, unless your FA has a good track record of at least 10 years to show you how good he is at investment, there is a chance that he does the investment poorly, and you ending up with less money at the end of the premium-paying term. Remember: high fees are guaranteed, but not your returns.
Of course, assuming that your FA is quite an expert in investment and you are too busy to study investment, and that you trust your FA, then you can give a try. My personal stand is still NO ILP.

ILP? - please check details first!
for my ILP, the insurance company takes ALL the monthly premium and buys the fund first. Hence, they make some income first from the subscription of fund (for the investment part). Then they sell immediately some units to pay for my insurance (the protection part) and make some income again.
As such, my ILP was performing very badly in the initial years.
From then on, I always separate investment from protection.
Try to see if term insurance better suits your needs and invest the rest.
Years later, another friend from the insurance industry commented that ILP could probably be the worst product for consumers.
Above are my personal experience.
