Should I change job or company potential making more money and lesser persona and family time at age 40? What do you think?

Need advice i am age 42 children age 13 and 10.Current income making about 80k-100k depends on market sales incentives.
Enjoy flexi lifestyle enough time to exercise and spend to with children.

It is more of understanding the risk

What will be the worst case?

You jump to the other company. U hated your job, it burn your weekend, but you got your 2x salary. You want to return to your previous company but position had been filled. What will you do?

Unless you already know the new company inside out. And you like the culture. If u hated the job so much 10x salary, u will also not last.

I am 39, I wish to change to full time retail job next year. But the economy is bad and i only have an 'O' level and ITE cert. So now, I am in a dilemma. I'm thinking if I should upgrade or look for full time job?

Do I need to inform insurance company for disability income every time I change job even if all of them are desk jobs with similar risk?

I want to change my job but it seems like a bad time to do so considering that a recession seems impending. How long do you think this recession in 2020 will last?

When do you think it’s time to change job? Or is it as long as I feel comfortable I can stay. Currently earning 3.3k per month?
