Hello there, to be upfront with you, it will be a gamble on your end. No one can predict if this downturn will go down even further, or go up. Unless you have done your due diligence on the key stocks in your watchlist, and you have already build your own conviction that it's for the long term, I would suggest you to not "follow where the crowd is".

I am answering your question 9 months into the future and the answer is that the Shanghai index has not moved up or down much from the price you said on 6 march 2019.
Sometimes human tendancy is to think when prices goes down, it will go up eventually. Don't think that way, evaluate with objective information about where the future is heading and not past trends.
