SG reit has a yield of 6% and distributes dividends twice a year. im confused does tha tmean the annual yield is 12%? e.g $100 investment. $12 of 100 is 12%?

I'm currently holding on to Citi Premiermiles card. Since it has 12 different airline partners, what has the cheapest redemption from SG to JAP and SG to EUR?
