Sell or Rent Out? I am staying at an old condominium near MRT. I am in a dilemma as to whether I should just cash out or continue to collect rental (after $30k reno) until it is enbloc? Thanks

My understanding is rental rates are high.. If u can rent out at a profits after deducting all costs should be a better option than selling there are more supply than demands out now..

Do you need the lump sum immediately? If no, then do rental to collect a regular stream of income.

Do compare outside investments if they are able to match/surpass the regular stream of income from rental.

Should I sell my HDB flat which I am collecting rental income and buy reits, equity and bonds or continue to rent the property out?

Ideally I want to stay in those one room BTO(retirement village) when old. Which flat to get? A 30-year-old flat near MRT vs a 5-year-old flat that's few bus stops away from MRT?

Which district condominium should I buy for investment? This will be my 2nd property purchase, budget @$1.2m, cash upfront $500k and loan the balance. My agent suggested district 1 as it is easier to rent out. Thanks.
