Seeking the best way to invest 50k
Hey guys, I have some spare cash (~$50k SGD) that I’m planning to invest, and I’m thinking of putting about 7/10 of it into Tiger and the other 3 into IBKR (or maybe another platform if you guys have any recommendations). I’m mainly looking at a mix of short-term opportunities with a focus on something that offers decent growth and low fees.
Anyone here invested in a similar way? Any recommendations on how I should split it, or if there’s a better platform to consider for either part of the investment? I heard some good things about tiger for its low fees and decent features for active traders. But for the portion I am putting into IBKR, I am still not sure if the fixed plan or tiered plan makes more sense.
Also, if anyone has any thoughts on ETFs or specific stocks that have done well in the short term recently, please share. Appreciate any advice on managing fees and reducing FX costs too!
