Hi Aaron, these days the problem doesn't seem to be accumulating miles through credit card points, but converting miles to business class award seats, due to frequent unavailability of very limited business class award seats. How can one check the availability of award business class seats for the future, for eg like 9months to 12months ahead?

What is the rationale behind accumulating miles in exchange for business class air ticket? Isn't it cheaper to buy business class air tickets as compared to spending a lot more money just to accumulate miles if the credit card I'm using only rewards me 1.2 mpd?
