Saw that the Citi AMEX Card has stopped new applicants, what would that mean for existing cardholders?

Is this an ominous sign? What are some things that you foresee for this card?

In short, there's no Changes for existing cardholder.

Nothing much will change till the card expire. The bank will issue new cards and you will be invited to swap your card over most likely.
