It's Asia's worst performing, not worst stock market. For SG market its all about the dividends and cash flow production esp for older folks it is more impt, if you didn't know our big 3 banks are also constantly reported as one of the best in the world as the gold standard of dividend income. I would say SG market is more for dividends than capital growth. In time to come, as the index grows and updates, you'll see the constituents include more reits and dividend stocks. And should increase the yields for the long run. Also, we don't have dividend tax for sg market opposed to US market.

No technology companies want to list in Singapore.

Singapore Stock Exchange still consists of companies operating in the traditional economy. I do not see a change here.

China technology companies choose to list in Hong Kong Stock Exchange instead of Singapore.

Singapore Stock Exchange has lost its relevance in the current era.
