Depends probably. Like in Great Eastern, there are different options in paying only 5 yrs, 10 yrs, etc. The duration depends on your needs. So best or not best probably need to know why and how long and the budget?

Better use fixed deposit. I signed up for 20 years plan and end up need to pay until age 40. regretted but can't withdraw out else I lose money.

The best advice is to no get any savings/retirement plan that lock you in for 10-20years.
