Entitled shareholders will be allotted rights to subscribe for 323 rights shares for every 1,000 existing shares they hold as at the record date, which will fall on Mar 2.

Hi shifus, I'm extremely new to this, with no financial background. My understanding is, it is as if I'm buying the shares at discounted rate, without the trading fees, am I correct? (Yays to saving $25!)

Also, the 23 in 323 is considered odd shares right? How would I be able to sell them in the future? Eg if I currently own 1000, I can buy 323. I can only sell 1300 in the open market right? How about the remaining 23?

Or should I just buy 300 shares instead of maximising the 323?
