Hi there,
I have both PruExtra A Premier and AIA IHS by my company.
I would like to have to possibility of co-payment by both insurance company in a way to reduce premium.
I understand PruExtra or Prushield Plan is mainly for those clinics that does e-filing or has medishield logo. I understand some AIA IHS has clinic that doesn't do e-filing. What is the best way to find specialist that does both E-Filing and covered by AIA IHS at the same time?

Hi Aelbin,
It is possible to do co-payment with both your personal PRUShield policy, in combination with your companies' insurance benefit to reduce premiums.
The only scenario where both policies will come into effect, would be in the event of hospitalisation for yourself. Depending on your IHS policy, it could be for group hospitalisation and surgery, with the inclusion of GP and specialist benefits. PRUShield provides coverage for hospitalisation (Inpatient) only, and does not allow claims for outpatient treatment.
The only possible scenario where you might be able to claim on both ends for your specialist visit, is that you are visiting a specialist as a precursor to inpatient treatment.
If you are using an IHS panel clinic, they often just take your e-card at the payment collection, the filing will not be done by the clinic per se. They will just submit the relevant billing to the insurer, which is forwarded to your company.
To find a specialist that does both, you will need to find out which specialist clinics are you allowed to visit under your company. In most cases, you can cross reference with the PRUPanel doctors to ensure compatability.
Do contact your agent, he should be able to assist you. If you need further assistance, do reach out! Hope i was able to address your queries!βββ
