Hi
Theres is, in fact, there's a series of popular mechanical keyboard (for gamer and some who enjoy the trill of keyboard click sounds ) went for sale in kickstarter and seems like sales was very good and appeared often in IG , which is the Keychron K2 (not exactly 60% but 75%) but still quite compact and portable (plastic version), also comes with steel based version.
Pros:
Compact in size and lightweight for the plastic based version,
Still retains the top row function buttons
Fully compatible design with Mac key (rather than just windows key)
Bluetooth (with or without dongle), support up to 3 devices (windows/mac/iphone/ipad/Android phone / tablet) like KVN
Single white or 15 different RGB lightings mode for those who like to party! :P
Save desk space if you have limited space or multidevice or prefer to reserve more desk space for work.
Most of all, enjoy the sound and responsive tactile feedback of mechanical keys to enjoy typing!
Batery last very long, can connect cable to charge or use it straight away for immediate respond while Gaming!
Comes with a keycap remover to change to different key colours / design and tactile feedback
Cons
Most of all, it's much cheaper than even branded non mechanical keybaord around $100+, overall a good choice. Keychron also have different models builds, can check out their website.
For this price point and features, I would get it! The only thing is also need to invest a hand rest, a minor cost for all of the above features.

Cheers.âââ

Like what most people have said, it is mainly used by gamers as those keys are rarely used in games ...

Hey Anon,
This might confuse you even more but there are keyboards with 96 keys haha.
I bought this Tecware Phantom 96 mechanical keyboard mainly because it is cheaper than the full-size equivalent. I also bought it due to its compact size as my table does not have enough space. Typing on it is also very shiok.
Think this is a good compromise between a full-sized keyboard with a number pad and a smaller keyboard. But, having to press the function key to change between numbers and functions at the side takes a bit of getting used to.âââ
