Recently crypto.com release a NFT marketplace, when will we able to have more functions with NFT other than collection

It is quite a misconception that NFTs are simply "collectibles". It is important to note that unlike any other physical or digital collectibles, NFTs simply do not disappear as it will forever reside on the blockchain.

Aside from this, a heavy use in NFT is in gaming - where you are able to trade your game items freely for other liquid assets. Not only that, you can also potentially see or use the NFT that you own in other applications that runs on the same blockchain as the NFTs you own.

Conventionally, you would not be able to do so without relying on blockchain technology.
