Real Estate Tokenisation

I always have an interest in Real Estate (RE) but traditional RE is very expensive for normal people.

Thus, I found out about Asset Tokenisation of Real Estate like Shareable Assets and Realt. Now, Shareable Assets have been discussed before in this forum but i would like to share my experience using Realt. (https://realt.co/)

This is not financial advice but my experience using it. I'm avid fan of blockchain technology and Realt utilises Blockchain and DeFi to tokenise American properties into smaller 'shares' called 'Interests'. The beauty of blockchain is that it allows the owner of the share of properties to earn rent on weekly basis depend on the amount of tokens they purchased. The rent would be in the form of USDC and will be transferred to your Ethereum address in the Xdai network or Ethereum network. Each token roughly have a yield of 10-11.8%.

In my opinion, it has work wonders for me as i get stable rent thus far. The risk is see if that it has no bank guarantee or FDIC insured but well, this is crypto afterall heh.

This is all evolving. the principle is wonderful. but the practice risky:

quality of the property, blockchain risk (non-blockchain security tokens seem better), lack of regulation. possibly old style REIT ETFs are currently a better mode of 'property investing'
