Read an article that older interns are actually a thing. Older meaning 35 years old and older. Wondering if anyone here has actually interacted with or has been an older intern before? How is it like?

I can imagine how much of an emotional barrier it must have been for the intern considering how this is unlike what traditional norms are. I find it commendable because it must have not been easy to do something like this.

KPMG has hired MBA interns who are older, like 30. There isn't much difference in how they were treated vs the younger uni interns. They were able to make friends with the rest too.

I think that it depends on the attitude and mindset. If i were an older intern, I will try to stand out in other ways like professionalism, work ethics, and initiative.
