Question on AIA GPP CI coverage?

Does the AIA GPP (whole life) already have a CI component in its basic plan without having to add a rider? Noticed that there is a ECPL (Early CI) coverage rider, so what if I only want CI but not ECI coverage?

There is no Critical Illness coverage in the basic plan for AIA Guaranteed Protect Plus. Instead, this is optionally available as either a standalone rider or an accelerated rider. You may refer to Part 3 of this post to understand the difference between the two types of rider: What is Critical Illness Insurance Singapore

In like manner, yes, you may choose to be covered for major Critical Illness only.
