Que on Standard Chartered Securities Settlement Account with 15% buffer.

Hi everyone, I would like to trade in usd in london stock market using SC. If i need to factor in the 15% buffer of the transacted price, will this percentage in USD or SGD ?

Eg. If i want to buy 20,000 usd worth of stocks, does that mean i need to convert another sum of money to factor in that 15% (share price=400 usd), which is 60 usd? TIA!

The buffer is in the currency that you want to trade in and has to be in your settlement account. In this case is USD.

The stock buying power is dependent on the available balance in your settlement account. SC will not convert between your settlement accounts.
