Does anybody does this, apart from the duration/wait of 4-6 weeks for the share transfer, anything else to take note of? Not sure if the costs saved from the lower commission is better off if say I purchase higher quantum of stocks say 15K sgd and above?

Apologies. Not sure of this. But if you want CDP, another way is to buy via DBS vickers cash upfront and then sell via fsm one. You can compare to see which transaction fee is cheaper. Via this way, there is no 4-6 weeks of waiting too.

Not worth the fees as the transfer transactions can be very expensive for penny stocks. Only works for the large caps such as buying Jardine C&C stock
