Purchasing insurance from one agent versus multiple agents

Is there value in purchasing insurance from one agent? It just happened that I have changed insurance agent over the years. Just wondering if I should consolidate them. In the case of my demise or if disease strikes, is it easier to get one agent to help me settle?

I have bought insurance over the years from different people including my own brother.

Every time someone approaches me, I will listen to what their plan is. Over time, I plan my own and all agents would have consolidated my plans.

It doesn't matter as long as you have the master plan for yourself and leave the instructions and policies with your family.

I have moved on to using insurance broker who covered a wide area of my needs.

One agent unless u are the one doing the consolidating (yes, even if you have just one you still need to consolidate/track just as backup). I dunno why but my friends say they never hear from their agents. My agent reviews my financial position yearly whether anot i get any product - i think this is the basic.

On the one hand, having one agent is simpler and more convenient as it eliminates the need to contact multiple agents. However, it's important to note that insurance policies vary across different companies as well. You can use online tools like Planner Bee to compare the plans offered by the different insurnace providers in SG

From my experience, it is best to look to multiple agents at the beginning. Many agents focus solely on earning commissions, and over time you will be able to weed out the unreliable ones.

Depends on whether agent feels reliable. if so, might be easier to have just one agent...
