I am keen to get a whole life insurance from Prudential, after reading through both these two plans online, I feel that these two are really similar . What are the differences between PruActive Life vs PruLife Multiplier Flex ?

Hi anon,
I don't distribute Prudential, but I can tell you that some of the key differences are as follows:
PruActive Life (the newer plan):
Premium term: 5 to 35 years
Multiplier: Up to 5 times, and up to age 65,70, 75, 80.
Coverage: Has payout upon admission to ICU (subject to meeting criteria)
Coverage: Higher number of covered conditions, including conditions not in the standard LIA CI list.
Coverage: Able to retain death benefit even after a CI claim (i.e. does not fully accelerate the sum assured)
Coverage: Should have more covered conditions for Special Benefits (4 if I recall correctly)/Juvenile Medical conditions with the early CI rider
Features: Kinship booster
PruLife Multiplier Flex (the older plan):
Premium term: 10 to 25 years
Multiplier: 3 or 4 times only, and only up till age 65 or 70
Coverage: Lower number of covered conditions, only covers those on LIA CI list (assuming the rider didn't change, I cannot confirm this)
Coverage: CI rider (built in) should be full acceleration only (i.e. a CI claim will terminate the plan)
Coverage: I remember the number of covered special benefits is only 3.

I'm currently using stockscafe. I paid for a one-year subscription and find the functions and such to be very useful, such as keeping track of dividends and transactions. slope unblocked
