I was reading about pre-existing conditions declarations for insurance. In the case where someone has pre-existing conditions such as psychiatric issues (or any other pre-existing conditions), but did not declare it before buying the insurance policy. Subsequently a claim is made for an unrelated condition such as diabetes, or cancer, will it be possible the insurer refuses to make a payout? Or the insurance benefits become invalid or void? Thanks in advance!

Yes, the insurer has the right to void policy for any non-disclosure of material information, whether related or not related to the claim

Hi, if you know that you have yet to declare any pre-existing conditions before buying the policy and have yet to make any claims, tell your agent to declare to the company to see if they will still accept this case before any claims is being made.
