Planning to invest my OA. How does the interest worked if I transfer in Oct, i.e. do I still received interest for these invested amount since they are in account from Jan till Oct?

Will I still received interest for these invested amount since they are in account from Jan till Oct? Then no interest for Nov and Dec? Or once the money is invested, the interest only given for those remained in OA?
